Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The No. 8 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (7-2, 4-1 PSAC) used a balanced attack to push past arch-rival and No. 13 West Chester (6-3, 3-3 PSAC) 9-6 today on the road in a PSAC battle.
Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North),
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South),
Rachel Ward (Indianapolis/Bishop Chatard) and
Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) all scored twice to lead the Lady Eagles balanced offensive attack.
Both Pandolf and Hamilton added an assist with
Jill Murray (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) rounding out the scoring.
Pandolf was all over the field for Lock Haven and finished with seven draw controls, five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
A huge key for Lock Haven was its 12-5 advantage in draw controls.
Each team recorded 18 shots in the game and the Lady Eagles held a slight, 5-4 advantage on the scoreboard at halftime.
The Lady Eagles scored four second half goals to pull away from their hosts.
Leading 7-5 and with just over 11 minutes to play in the game, Lock Haven scored a pair of goals just 18 seconds apart to take the 9-5 lead.

Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) made nine saves, which were a tremendous piece to The Haven's win.
Lock Haven returns to action on Monday, April 7 at 4 p.m. when the Lady Eagles host Shepherd in non-conference action.
