LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (2-4, 2-4 PSAC) fell 1-0 to Seton Hill (3-2-1, 3-1-1 PSAC) this evening in PSAC action.
Seton Hill shocked Lock Haven with an 88
th minute goal. The Griffins Hanna Mark sent a 30-yard shot into the upper corner to give Seton Hill the win.
Lock Haven and Seton Hill were deadlocked at 0-0 after the opening 45 minutes of play.
Both teams created strong scoring chances in the second half including Lock Haven's
Leisha Noble (West Milford, N.J./West Milford). The speedy freshman was a pest in the Seton Hill side all game.
Both team's goalies were forced make big saves, including
Michelle Cuomo (Schenectady, N.Y./Herkimer), who finished with three.
Taylor Ludlam (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink) and
Harley Rolph (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) led a strong effort on defense for The Haven.
The Lady Eagles picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win over visiting Pitt-Johnstown yesterday (Friday).
Lock Haven travels to No. 9 West Chester on Wednesday, September 24 for a 4:30 PSAC showdown.
