LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team (6-2) fell 5-1 tonight at No. 7 Penn State (6-2) in non-conference action.

The loss snapped Lock Haven's six-game win streak.

The Nittany Lions led 2-1 at halftime thanks to goals from Amanda Dinunzio and Emilee Ehret.

Dinunzio deflected a shot home in in the fifth minute and Ehret made it 2-0 in the 23
rd minute.
Â
Less than one minute after Ehret's goal, the Lady Eagles got on the board when
Taylor Kennedy (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Township) scored her fifth goal of the season.

Lock Haven was awarded a penalty stroke and Kenndy left no doubt, burying the ball in the top left corner to make it 2-0.

Elaina White (Etters, Pa./Red Land) was fantastic from the start and made four first-half saves, including a trio of point-blank stops midway through the first 30 minutes of play.

Penn State added three goals in the second half.

White finished with eight saves, matching her season-high.

Lock Haven hosts La Salle in conference action on Friday, September 26 at 3 p.m.
