LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (4-3-1) fell to visiting Shepherd 3-2 in overtime today in a non-conference match.

Shepherd's (5-3-1) Kyle Ransom scored 2:50 into overtime to give the Rams the win.

Lock Haven took the 1-0 lead in the 12
th minute of play, after
Jacob Oldaker (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry) scored his fourth goal of the season.

Colt Brackbill (Juniata, Pa./Juniata) played perfect through ball from midfield and Oldaker ran onto it – drilling it far post for the goal.

Michael Cella's free kick tally tied the match at 1-1 in the 35
th minute, sending the match into the halftime tied 1-1.

LHU took the lead again in the 60
th minute on a goal by
Jesse Smith (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro), who poked home a perfect crossing-pass from Oldaker.

The Rams however responded again in the 74
th minute and tied the match at 2-2 sending things into overtime, where they found the eventual game-winner in the 93
rd minute.

Lock Haven returns to action on Saturday, October 4 at 2 p.m. vs. NYIT.
