LOCK HAVEN, PA. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (10-5, 4-3 PSAC) fell to visiting Pitt-Johnstown (8-4, 4-3 PSAC), 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-18, & 25-23) tonight at Thomas Fieldhouse on the PSECU Court.Â

After falling in the first set, the Lady Eagles battled back to win the second set, 25-23. The late rally proved to be not enough as the Haven fell in the fourth set, 25-23.

Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) led The Haven with 14 kills on 30 attempts, for a .367 hitting-percentage. Flick added five digs and one assisted block in the loss.

Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) continued to have a consistent senior campaign with 12 kills.

Toryn Quivers (Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan) added seven kills and six assisted blocks.

Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) recorded her eighth double-double of the season. Brown paced The Haven offense with 37 assists and added 16 digs defensively.

Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) led LHU defensively with 28 kills.

Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) added 17 digs in four sets.

Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) added 10 digs in the loss.

LHU and UPJ are now both 4-3 in conference action.
