Box Score SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (0-1) opened the 2014 season today on the road at Le Moyne (2-0) and the Bald Eagles were edged 1-0.
 
Le Moyne scored the game's only goal in the 27^th minute after Jacob Borssen knocked home a Nick Rauscher cross for the game-winner.
 
Jonathan Howitt (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post East) made one save in net for LHU.
 
Jacob Oldaker (Elliottsburg, Pa./West Perry) did all he could to spark the LHU attack with four shots, but none could find the back of the net.
 
The Bald Eagles were picked 10^th in the 2014 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Preseason Coaches' poll. Lock Haven went 5-12 last season.
 
Lock Haven returns to action on Tuesday, September 9 at 4 p.m. on the road at Goldey Beacom.
