KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Mansfield Univ.) scored a team-high 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, but the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (4-10, 3-7 PSAC) fell on the road to Kutztown University (6-8, 5-6 PSAC), 66-56.
Moyer's 13 points came on 5-of-11 shooting from the field. The senior forward is now 13 points away from becoming the 13
th Lady Eagle in LHU history to score 1,000 points in her career.
Emily Daugherty (Laughlintown, Pa./Ligonier Valley) netted 12 points in 17 minutes of action off of the bench.
Sami Lane (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock) added 10 points, four assists and three steals on the day.
Syvae McDaniel (Plainfield, N.J./California Univ. (Pa.)) tied a season-high with nine points and pulled down a career-best seven rebounds for LHU.
Kutztown outscored Lock Haven, 33-28 in each half on its way to the win.
The Golden Bears were led by Natalya Lee, who scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists.
Tonight marked the second of three straight road games for the Lady Eagles, who travel to Millersville University on Wednesday (Jan. 14) for a 5:30 p.m. start.
