MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Despite 15 points from
Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Neumann-Goretti), the Lock Haven University men's basketball team fell 74-53 tonight on the road at Millersville University in conference play.
Hepburn was 5-of-18 from the field, hit one 3-pointer and was 4-for-6 from the free-throw stripe. He added four assists and nine rebounds, as he did all he could to spark Lock Haven (4-11, 4-7 PSAC East).
Millersville (8-9, 5-7 PSAC East) was led by Kelvin Parker, who dropped 22 points and was one of four Marauders in double-figures scoring.
Theo West (Philadelphia/Kensington) added six points and 10 rebounds.
Dave Garcia (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mt. East) and
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) each scored eight points, while
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) added seven points, and seven rebounds.
Tonight's game capped a three-game road swing for the Bald Eagles, who return home on Saturday (January 17).
Lock Haven hosts Cheyney Saturday at 4 p.m.
