EDINBORO, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team got a strong individual efforts from
Nate Walters (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) and
Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Neumann-Goretti), but it wasn't enough to spark the Bald Eagles past Edinboro University tonight as the host Fighting Scots won 90-63.
It marked the final Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover game of the season for Lock Haven (3-10, 3-6 PSAC).
Walters recorded a strong double-double, scoring 13 points to go along with a game-high 10 rebounds.
Hepburn netted 15 points for the Bald Eagles. He added five rebounds and five assists.
Elijah Cooper (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) added nine points.
Edinboro (7-7, 4-6 PSAC) got a game-high 32 points from Henri Wade-Chatman.
Tonight marked the first of three straight road games for the Bald Eagles, who return to action on Saturday (Jan. 10) at Kutztown University (1 p.m.), before traveling to Millersville University on Wednesday, January 14 (7:30 p.m.).
