LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (2-7, 2-6 PSAC) dropped a hard-fought conference contest to Clarion University (3-6-1, 3-5-1 PSAC) 3-0 today.
The Bald Eagles dominated possession throughout the match, but were unable to beat Golden Eagle goalkeeper Krista Mosi. Mosi made six saves on the afternoon.
Despite carrying the play, Lock Haven trailed 1-0 at the 31:32 mark of the first half. Clarion's McKenzie Sheesley received a lead pass from Marina Kelly on the far side and her shot would beat Lock Haven goalkeeper

The roles would be reversed by Sheesely and Kelly in the second half. At 48:08, Kelly took the pass from Sheesley and snuck the ball inside the near post to put Clarion up by two.
Closing out the scoring, Taylor Starr settled a bouncing ball down inside the box and struck it past Euston at 59:28 for her first of the season and Clarion's third of the game.
The Bald Eagles pressed in the second half attempting 12 shots, doubling up Clarion's effort.
Lock Haven's
Jordan Shoff (York, P.A./York Suburban) and
