LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (7-9-1, 6-4 PSAC) fell to Slippery Rock (10-6, 6-4 PSAC), 5-0 today in PSAC action at Hubert Jack Stadium.
Prior to kickoff, Lock Haven honored its seniors and despite the loss, the Bald Eagles had already clinched a 2015 PSAC playoff spot.
SRU's Kenton Keeslar opened the scoring just 8:09 in and The Rock led 2-0 at halftime.
Slippery Rock added three second-half goals in the victory as both LHU and SRU continue their push to the conference tournament.
Despite 14 shots over 90 minutes, LHU couldn't get one behind The Rock keeper.
Troy Amspacher (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) led The Haven with five shots.
The Bald Eagles will close out the regular season next Saturday, October 31 at 2:30 p.m. on the road at California (Pa.) University.
