SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (16-11, 8-8 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East match today on the road at Shippensburg (22-8, 11-6 PSAC), 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 25-19 & 25-8).
Lock Haven took the first set 25-21, but the Red Raiders won the next three to take home the important PSAC East victory.
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) led LHU with 13 kills and
Brittany Moyer (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain) knocked down 12.
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) added nine kills.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) led the Bald Eagles with 37 assists and
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) had 29 digs.
Lock Haven will host Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. The Bald Eagles are calling for a "WHITE OUT" Tuesday.
Tuesday's home match with UPJ marks the start of a three-match homestand.
