Hilliard named to the 2015 Wolf's Bus Lines Classic All-Tournament Team; averaged 16.5 points SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Playing for the second consecutive day at the Shippensburg University Wolf's Bus Line Classic Tournament, the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (1-1) dropped a hard-fought 63-54 decision to Saint Michael's (1-1).
Leading the way for Lock Haven was
J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty), who had a team-high 16 points. She shot 43 percent from the field, added six rebounds and dished out two assists.
Mackenzie Livingston (Blairsville, Pa./IUP) added 12 points for The Haven.
Sydney Morse (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) chipped in with nine points and
Loren Kaiser (Bethlehem, Pa./Pace) scored seven points, and grabbed eight boards.
Yesterday, LHU opened the season with thrilling 65-60 comeback-win over Davis & Elkins.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, Hilliard was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 16.5 points in two games.
Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m. at West Chester to open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
