WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-23, 25-17 & 25-19) on the road at West Chester in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action, wrapping up the regular season.
Despite the loss,
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) had a career-day with 19 digs. Her 19 digs helped her set a new single-season school record with 711, and she now has 1,734 career digs, the second-most in school history.
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) hit .481 with 14 kills.
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) added seven kills.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) dished out 30 assists.
With the loss, LHU finishes the regular season at 21-12 and 13-9 in PSAC play. The Bald Eagles have earned the No. 4 seed from the PSAC East for the upcoming conference tournament. With the win, West Chester (25-9, 13-9 PSAC) earned the No. 3 spot, finishing one spot ahead of Lock Haven.
Lock Haven will return to action on Tuesday, November 17 in PSAC Quarterfinal action (7 p.m.) LHU, the No. 4 seed will head to top-seed Pitt-Johnstown.
