CALIFORNIA, Pa. – Tracy Peal (Wilmington, Del./Archbishop John Carroll) and
Shawn Church (Ridley, Pa./Ridley) combined for 21 points, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (2-2, 0-2 PSAC) fell to host California (Pa.) University (1-3, 1-1 PSAC), 70-47 today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Peal netted a team-high 11 points, while Church added 10.
Church also led Lock Haven with seven rebounds, while three other players, including Peal grabbed four boards.
In all, 10 players scored for the Bald Eagles, who trailed by just five at the break (27-22).
The Vulcans used a strong second-half and 12 points from Drew Cook to pull away from The Haven.
LHU is right back it tomorrow (Sunday, November 22) at Slippery Rock (3 p.m.).
