CALIFORNIA, Pa. – Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) scored a game-high 15 points for the Bald Eagles, but it wasn't enough to spark the Lock Haven University women's basketball team by No. 5 California (Pa.) University, as the Vulcans won, 67-48 today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Mealing complimented her 15 points with a game-high 12 rebounds, but the monster double-double wasn't enough for the Bald Eagles (1-3, 0-2 PSAC) today on the road.
Loren Kaiser (Bethlehem, Pa./Pace Univ.) chipped in on offense with nine points.
Ayanda McGill-Jefferson (Lancaster, Pa./J.P./McCaskey) netted seven points and
Mackenzie Livingston (Blairsville, Pa./IUP) added six.
The Vulcans (3-1, 2-0 PSAC) were led by three players in double-figures scoring.
LHU is right back it tomorrow (Sunday, November 22) at Slippery Rock (1 p.m.).
