Bald Eagles drop tough home contest with Kutztown, 77-76

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (8-3, 4-3 PSAC) dropped a tough, one-point contest to Kutztown University (8-1, 6-1 PSAC) today 77-76 at Thomas Fieldhouse.

Kutztown, who entered the day tied atop the PSAC East standings, needed a strong second half to edge a resilient Lock Haven team.

LHU led 40-35 at the half thanks to hot shooting by Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist).

Hunt scored all 13 of his points in the first half on 6-7 shooting from the field.

Kutztown quickly closed the gap in the second half and the two teams battled back and forth down the stretch in a game that featured nine lead changes and six ties.
