LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (3-5, 1-4 PSAC) closed the first half on an 11-4 run and started the second on a tear, but it wasn't enough tonight, as the Bald Eagles were outlasted by Gannon University (6-3, 4-1 PSAC), 72-62 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Rachael McDaniel (Plainfield, N.J./California (Pa.) University) led the way for Lock Haven, netting a team-high 18 points.
J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) dropped 15 points to go along with four rebounds and three assists.
Loren Kaiser (Bethlehem, Pa./Pace Univ.) scored 10 points and dished out six assists.
Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) led the way on the glass with nine rebounds.
LHU is right back at it tomorrow (Saturday, December 5) when the Bald Eagles host Clarion University at 2 p.m. on ALUMNI APPRECIATION DAY.
