BLOOMSBURG, PA. – The Lock Haven University basketball team (11-15, 10-12 PSAC) closed the 2014-15 regular season tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 25) with a, 87-53 loss on the road against No. 14 Bloomsburg University (23-3, 20-2 PSAC).

The Lady Eagles recorded 11 wins this season and 10 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), clinching its first PSAC playoff berth since the 1990-1991 season.

Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Mansfield Univ.) capped the regular season fourth in the conference in rebounding with 253 on the year (9.7 per game).

Leading the way tonight was senior
Sami Lane (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock) with 15 points, shooting 5-for-6 from the free throw line. Lane added three steals.

J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) recorded another solid night grabbing a team-high nine boards and adding nine points.

Seniors
Emily Daugherty (Laughlintown, Pa./Ligonier Valley),
Kirsti Bair (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley), and Moyer added a strong performance for the Haven.Â

Moyer and Bair grabbed eight rebounds, while Daugherty added nine.Â
Bair recorded eight points in the loss.

Jocelyn Ford led The Huskies with 18 points and seven rebounds in the, 87-53 Bloomsburg win.

The Lady Eagles netted 24 points in the paint and added 11 bench points.

Lock Haven will return to action on Saturday, February 28 at Kutztown in PSAC Tournament First Round action. LHU has secured the No. 5 seed in the East and the Golden Bears will host as the fourth seed after finishing the season 11-15 overall and 10-12 in conference play.
