LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader today to West Chester in PSAC East action at a windy Foundation Field.

Lock Haven (8-16, 7-11 PSAC East) led, 4-2 heading into the seventh inning of game one, but West Chester (16-7, 12-4 PSAC East) scored four runs in its final at bat to steal the win, 6-4. The Golden Rams won game two, 12-2.

LHU trailed WCU, 2-0 through 5.5 innings of game one before the LHU bats awoke.

The Bald Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a, 4-2 lead into the final inning.

Brett Morrison (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) and
Mike Agosto (Bushkill, Pa./Northampton C.C.) each drove in two runs with singles during the rally.

West Chester answered, however. The Golden Rams scored four runs of their own in their final at bat to take the lead, 6-4 and WCU would hang on for the win.

Ryan Henritzy (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) went 2-for-4 with a stolen base for LHU.

Ethan Moore (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) was 2-for-3 in the game.
Â
Dylan Tice led West Chester at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Game 2 Recap: L, 12-2Â
West Chester scored five runs in the first two innings of game two on its way to the, 12-2 win.

WCU scored its 12 runs on 13 hits and benefitted from three LHU errors.

Nine different Bald Eagles recorded one hit in the game.

Austin Botts (Seven Valleys, Pa./Wingate Univ.) hit his team-leading fifth homerun of the season, a solo shot to left field in the second inning.

Botts now leads LHU with 19 RBIs on the year.

Henritzy went 1-for-3 with a double and a run. The senior has now hit safely in 12 straight games for the Bald Eagles.

Justin Roman led West Chester, going 3-for-5 with a double, a homerun and four RBIs.

Lock Haven and West Chester close out their series tomorrow (Sunday, April 12) when the Bald Eagles travel to West Chester for a doubleheader.
