#2 Lady Eagles hang on for, 8-6 win over Millersville

Senior Jessica Pandolf leads Haven with four goals in the win

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Senior Jessica Pandolf (Holbook, N.Y./Sachem North) recorded four goals as the No. 2 Lock Haven University (10-0, 7-0 PSAC) held on for an, 8-6 win over Millersville University (5-7, 2-5 PSAC) on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
 
Jessica Pandolf was sensational today, netting four goals, five draw controls, and five groundballs to lead the Lady Eagles past the Marauders on the road, 8-6. 
 
Pandolf recorded a hat trick in the first half to spark the Haven offense.
 
The Lady Eagles led 6-3 at the break.
 
With 13 minutes left to play, Millersville tied the game, 6-6. Pandolf once again gave LHU the lead with a free-position goal in the 54th minute of action.
 
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) recorded the final goal of the game with six minutes left to play to extend Lock Haven's lead by two.
 
The Lady Eagles held on to seal a, 8-6 victory over the Marauders.
 
Hamilton and Jenna Dingler (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) finished the day with two goals each.  Hamilton added a pair of ground balls in the win.
 
Lock Haven recorded 21 ground balls and was perfect on clears, recording 14-for-14 successful attempts.
 
Bridget Hufnagel led Millersville with four goals.
 
Lock Haven returns to action Tuesday, April 14 when the Lady Eagles travel to Shepherd to play in non-conference action.  Game time is set for 4 p.m.
