LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The No. 2 Lock Haven University lacrosse team downed visiting Gannon University, 20-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action today on Charlotte E. Smith field.
With today's dominating, 20-1 victory over Gannon University (6-9, 3-7 PSAC) Lock Haven (12-0, 9-0 PSAC) has won 24 consecutive regular season games.
LHU came out firing on all cylinders as the Lady Eagles netted 20 goals and allowed a lone goal late in the second half.
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) led all-scorers in today's contest with four goals off of six shots.
A trio of Lady Eagles recorded hat tricks as,
Jill Murray (Unionville, Pa./Unionville),
Rachel Ward (Indianapolis/Bishop Chatard), and
Hope Thomas (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) etched their names in the score sheets. Ward added a pair of draw controls.
Senior
Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) recorded an all-around effort with three goals and a game-high four draw controls.
Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) and Pandolf directed the Haven attack with four assists.
Lock Haven led Gannon in draw controls 14-to-9 and recorded 18-for-19 successful clears.
Kierstyn Haight led Gannon with four draw controls and Ileyana Little recorded the single goal for the Golden Knights.
LHU honored it's nine graduating seniors prior to the start of the game.

Lock Haven is right back in action tomorrow (Saturday, April 18) when LHU travels Shippensburg in conference play.
