SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) led The No. 2 Lock Haven University women's lacrosse team with six points as LHU defeated Shippensburg University, 16-4 today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Action (PSAC).
Lock Haven (13-0, 10-0 PSAC) remains perfect in conference and undefeated with the, 16-4 win over Shippensburg (3-12, 1-9 PSAC).
Pandolf proved once again to be one of the best in Division II as the senior recorded a game-high four goals, two assists, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers in the PSAC win for LHU.
Pandolf added a game-high four draw controls.
LHU jumped to an early, 4-0 lead in the first half before SHIP recorded its first goal in the 16
th minute of action.
The Raiders continued to drive to the net, as Lock Haven held a slim, 6-3 advantage at the break.
Freshmen O'Herrick and Costanza ignited the Haven offense at the start of the second half with back-to-back goals within the first minute of play.
From that point on LHU was lethal, recording 10 goals in the second half to seal an, 16-4 victory.
Shannon Bissnette (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) and
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) each notched a hat trick, while
Jenna Dingler (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) and Katie Constanza (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) rounded out the top-scorers for the Lady Eagles with a combined four goals.
Bissnette directed the Haven attack with five assists in the win.
The Lock Haven defensive unit was once again remarkable, allowing only four goals and recording 16-for-18 successful clear attempts.

Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) recorded 10 saves.
T.J. Johnson and Courtney Kennedy led SHIP for a combined four goals.
The win moves the Lady Eagles to 13 on the year, marking 25 consecutive regular season wins for the LHU.
LHU returns to action Tuesday, April 21 when Lock Haven travels to Shepherd University in non-conference action. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
