LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team won 2-1 and 3-0 today on the way to a sweep of visiting Mansfield University.

The two wins keep Lock Haven (14-22, 10-12 PSAC East) alive in the PSAC East playoff race.

LHU and Mansfield (10-20-1, 5-17 PSAC East) split a doubleheader on Friday in Mansfield.

LHU pitcher
Rachel Mouillesseaux (Endicott, N.Y./Union Endicott) threw a two-hitter in game one. She struck out nine and allowed just one walk over seven innings.

The Bald Eagles racked up eight hits, including a pair from both
Sarah Schwalm (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin) and
McKenna Garlock (Three Springs, Pa./Southern Huntingdon).

Jessie Probst (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) picked up the win in game two after a strong outing.

Kelsey Harris (Williamsport, Pa./Seton Hill Univ.) was 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and
Gabrielle Henson (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) hit a two-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth.
