LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team dropped both games of a PSAC East doubleheader today to visiting West Chester University.

Lock Haven (14-26, 10-16 PSAC East) lost game one 4-0 and West Chester (36-12, 20-6 PSAC East) completed the road-sweep with a 6-2 game-two win.

Today marked Lock Haven's annual "Knock MS Out of the Park Game" and the Lady Eagles wore their special orange uniforms for the occasion, as they continue to do all they can to fight the disease.

Game 1 Recap: L, 4-0Â
West Chester scored four runs on 11 hits on the way to the game-one victory.

Lock Haven picked up three hits, all off the bats of three different players.

WCU plated all four runs in the top of the sixth.

Lock Haven's bats came alive in game two, thanks to
McKenna Garlock (Three Springs, Pa./Southern Huntingdon), who was 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Jodi Weaknecht (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) drove in a pair of runs for The Haven in the bottom of the first inning on a double to left-centerfield.

Nicole Smith (Milton, Pa./Milton) and
Jessie Probst (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) both had two-hit games.

Lock Haven closes out the 2015 regular season tomorrow (Saturday, April 25) versus Millersville University on "Senior Day" at 1 p.m.
