ERIE, Pa. – Senior
Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) drilled a game-winning goal with 15 seconds left in the game as the No. 2 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (9-0, 6-0 PSAC) downed No. 8 Mercyhurst University (9-2, 5-1 PSAC), 10-9 on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) thriller.

The Lakers jumped to a 3-0 lead before
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) put LHU on the board with back-to-back goals to trail, 3-2.Â

From that point on both teams exchanged the lead for the remaining five minutes before Mercyhurst netted the last two goals of the half to lead, 6-4 at the break.

Jenna Dingler (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) sparked the Haven offense at the start of the second half with a free-position goal to trail, 6-5 in the third minute of action.

Mercyhurst responded with two goals to lead, 8-5 with 15 minutes remaining in the game.

Freshman
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) recorded a crucial man-up goal late in the second half from senior
Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) to trail, 8-6.

Hamilton and

Both teams netted another goal in the fight to keep possession, as neither could jump to a late-game advantage.

Christina Hawkins (Havre de Grace, Md./Bel Air) won a hard-fought draw control to keep momentum in LHU's favor.Â
In the final 15 seconds of the game, Pandolf took control of the game, netting a free-position goal to seal a, 10-9 Haven victory.

Hamilton led all-scorers in today's contest with four goals and tallied a draw control.

Pandolf recorded an all-around effort with a hat trick, four draw controls, and shot 2-for-3 on free positions today.
