ERIE, Pa. – Freshman
Marah Foltz (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) capped a strong game offensively with a goal – her fourth of the season - but it wasn't enough to carry the Lock Haven University women's soccer team (4-8, 4-9 PSAC) past host Gannon University (7-3-2, 7-3-1 PSAC) today as the Golden Knights won, 4-1.
After a scoreless first half, the two teams combined for five goals in the second half.
Foltz registered half of Lock Haven's 18 shots, finishing with nine shots and a goal. With Lock Haven down 2-0, Foltz scored in the 74
th minute to make it 2-1, but Gannon scored two more times down the stretch.
Haley Predix (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) came off the bench and rattled off a trio of shots to help The Haven's offensive cause.

Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, October 19 at 2:30 p.m. when the Bald Eagles host West Chester.
