SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-10-1, 3-7 PSAC) fell in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match at Slippery Rock University (4-9-2, 3-5-2 PSAC), 2-1.
SRU got on the board first in the 32
nd minute with a Justin Minda goal.
Troy Amspacher (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) got the equalizer just six minutes after SRU took the lead with a shot from the top of the box that beat the keeper to the upper 90.
In a physical match that saw 22 penalties, two yellow cards and one red card Slippery Rock scored the eventual game-winner a man down in the 88
th minute.
Troy Teresak (Pompton Plains, N.J./DePaul Catholic) finished the day with seven saves, facing 20 shots on the day.
LHU wraps up the regular season Saturday, October 29 at 2:30 p.m. when they host California (Pa.).
