ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (3-4, 1-3 PSAC) fell to Clarion (5-4, 3-1 PSAC) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match-up by a score of 75-55.
Leading the way for The Haven was
Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh (State College, Pa./State College) who scored 12 points while shooting 75 percent from the field.
Madison McHale (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) and Ayanda-McGill-Jefferson (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) both chipped in on the offensive side by scoring nine points apiece.
Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) dominated the boards once again hauling in seven rebounds.
LHU was fresh of yesterday's (Saturday, Dec. 3) win over Gannon, a historic win at that for the Bald Eagles as it marked Lock Haven's first win at Gannon since 1992 and snapped a 14-game losing streak to the Golden Knights.
The Bald Eagles now set their eyes on Pitt-Johnstown and the Saturday, December 10 (1 p.m.) PSAC clash.
