MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (9-13, 6-12 PSAC) saw three players reach double-figures scoring, including
Rachael McDaniel (Plainfield, N.J./California (Pa.) Univ.), who had a game-high 17 points and the Bald Eagles rallied late, but it wasn't enough as host Millersville Univesity (14-7, 10-7 PSAC) hung on for a 61-55 victory.
McDaniel netted a pair of 3-pointers and shot 9 of 10 from the free-throw line.
J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) scored 16 points and
Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh (State College, Pa./State College) scored 10 points to go along with seven rebounds.
Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona), the top rebounder in Division II, pulled down eight boards today.
Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, February 10 at 5:30 p.m. when the Bald Eagles host Cheyney University.
