LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The No. 6 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (8-0, 4-0 PSAC) got another balanced offensive output, which helped the Bald Eagles drop Edinboro University (5-3, 1-3 PSAC), 15-7.
LHU got goals from seven different players and The Haven moved to 8-0 with its fourth straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory.
Hope Thomas (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) led Lock Haven with a four-goal effort.
Hayley Kilian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) netted a hat trick.
Dana Laulis (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley),
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) and
Karli Gilbert (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown) all scored twice.
Kilian and Laulis both had two assists.
O'Herrick once again controlled the game with seven draw controls and three ground balls.
Kelly Close (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) had a big game on defense and caused two Edinboro turnovers. She was also credited with a pair of ground balls.
The Bald Eagles used three different goalkeepers and each finished with at least one save.
Lock Haven will return to action on Tuesday, March 29 at 4 p.m. at East Stroudsburg.
