LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The No. 10 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (13-3, 8-3 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game today at Millersville University (10-6, 6-5 PSAC), 10-6.
Millersville led 6-3 at halftime and held on in the second for an important win, as the postseason sits on the horizon.
Hayley Kilian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) and
Rachel Engler (Perkiomenville, Pa./Rutgers) each scored twice for Lock Haven..
Shannon Bissnette (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) added a goal and one assist.
Hannah Houde (Jackson, N.J./Slippery Rock Univ.) finished with five saves in goal and
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) led LHU with all nine of The Haven's draw controls.
Despite today's loss, the Bald Eagles have clinched a spot in the PSAC Tournament.
Lock Haven is set to close out the regular season on Saturday (April 23) at 11 a.m. at No. 8 Mercyhurst University.
