The Lock Haven University volleyball team (1-8, 0-1 PSAC) dropped its 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opener at Edinboro (8-4, 1-0 PSAC) 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-20) tonight.
 
Sophomore Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) finished the match with five kills and a block assist.
 
Junior Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) led the Bald Eagle offense with seven kills. Gomish also added nine digs.
 
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added 16 digs to her already historic career against Edinboro.
 
LHU is back in action tomorrow (Saturday, 24) at 2:00 p.m. when the Bald Eagles travel to Slippery Rock.
