The Lock Haven University volleyball team (1-9, 0-2 PSAC) dropped a thrilling Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match to Slippery Rock (8-7, 1-1 PSAC) in five sets, 3-2 (20-25, 21-25, 25-23, 29-27, 12-15).

The Bald Eagles trailed host Slippery Rock two sets to none, but were able to rally back and force a fifth set. Down two sets to zero the Bald Eagle offense came to life, led by
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll),
Chloe Williams (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and
Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township). They finished with 17, 15 and 11 kills respectively.

Olivia Sass (Roanoke Va./Cave Spring) finished the game with 57 assists. Sass' 57 assists rank top five in an individual five-set match.

Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added 41 more digs to her school record which she set earlier in the season.
