KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (1-3, 0-3 PSAC) was edged 2-1 today at Kutztown University (2-1, 1-1 PSAC) after the host Golden Bears netted a pair of second-half goals.
Lock Haven took the 1-0 lead on the road in the 43
rd minute when
Hayleigh Swam (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) knocked home an
Emily Vitale (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) pass.
LHU led 1-0 at halftime and outshot KU 8-5 through 45 minutes.
Kutztown found the back of the net twice in the second half, scoring in the 77
th and 87
th minute for the comeback-win.
Swam was Lock Haven's offensive spark and finished with three shots.
