MANSFIELD, Pa. – Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) helped lead the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (7-9, 4-8 PSAC) over Mansfield University (3-13, 1-11 PSAC) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest 54-46.
 
LHU got on the scoreboard 16 seconds into the game when Mealing stepped up to the free throw line and made both of her free throws. The Bald Eagles did not look back as they led the rest of the game.
 
Mealing finished the game with 17 points, 13 rebounds and three steals.
 
Becca Reilly (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) chipped in with nine points as well.
 
The Haven also had another great performance from their bench as they outscored the Mountaineers 25-0 in bench points.  
 
The Bald Eagles are back in action Saturday (Jan. 21) when they head to West Chester for a PSAC East contest at 1 p.m.
