WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Emily James (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield H.S.) netted a career-high 16 points and Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) recorded a double-double (12 pts., 10 rbs.), but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (7-10, 4-9 PSAC) fell to host West Chester University (8-9, 8-5 PSAC) 69-55 this afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
 
James' 16 points were also a game-high as she was a sensational 4 of 5 from 3-point range.
 
Mealing had 12 points, 10 rebounds (8 def.), four assists, four steals and a block.
 
Madison McHale (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) knocked down a trio of 3's and finished with 15 points.
 
West Chester had four players reach double-figures in scoring column as the Golden Rams shot 42 percent from the field on the way to the win.
 
The Bald Eagles will return to the court next Wednesday (Jan. 25) at 5:30 p.m. when they host local-rival Bloomsburg University to Thomas Fieldhouse.
