EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (3-6, 3-6 PSAC) was downed 2-0 today on the road at East Stroudsburg University (8-2-1, 8-2 PSAC) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Despite a combined seven shots from
Jordan Shoff (York, Pa./York Suburban) and
Gabby Kishbaugh (Berwick, Pa./Berwick), LHU just couldn't get one past a tough Jules Harris, who backstopped the ESU victory from her goalkeeper spot.
Bree Hilty (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) was solid at her end and the LHU keeper finished with five saves as she kept The Haven in the match.
Haley Skove scored once in each half (2', 52') and Harris finished with eight saves to carry ESU to victory. The Warriors are ranked No. 4 in the region.
The Bald Eagles will host Seton Hill at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.
