LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Amir Hinton (Philadelphia/Abington) finished with 30 points including 17 in the second half, which sparked the Bald Eagles rally, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (2-5, 1-3 PSAC) was edged by visiting Edinboro University (5-2, 3-1 PSAC), 68-64.
Edinboro entered the weekend receiving votes in some national media polls.
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) netted 10 points and added seven rebounds.
Jihad Barnes (Philadelphia/Philadelphia Electric Charter) contributed nine points, five rebounds and two steals while
Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal.
Edinboro was led by Anthony Coleman who had 19 points.
Next Saturday (Dec. 9), Lock Haven will host Pitt-Johnstown at 3 p.m. in what will be the third game of a five-game homestand.
