LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Freshman
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (2-8, 1-5 PSAC) to their first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win of the season 66-57 over Bloomsburg University (5-7, 2-4 PSAC).
Parker made her presence known the moment she checked into the game, scoring 10 points in the first half and leading The Bald Eagles to a 28-27 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Parker,
Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh (State College, Pa./State College) and
Kayla Henderson (Philadelphia/Lackawanna College) helped LHU extend the one point lead to as many as 14 as the Bald Eagles outscored the Huskies 19-9 in the quarter and led 47-36 entering the final period.
In the fourth, Bloomsburg was able to make a late run and cut the Bald Eagle lead to six, but
