HICKORY, N.C. – Rachel Engler (Perkiomenville, Pa./Rutgers) scored four goals including two down the stretch to help the No. 13 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (3-0) remain perfect as the Bald Eagles held off a challenge by host Lenoir-Rhyne (4-3), and won 13-10.

After trailing 2-0 eight minutes into the game
Karli Gilbert (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown) got the Bald Eagles on the board after receiving a pass from Hayley Killian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley).

Killian finished the game with four assists, one goal and five points.

Dana Laulis (Garney Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) had a big game for LHU finishing with five points. Laulis netted two goals and dished out three assists.

Ashley Gochenaur (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) notched two goals

Katie Constanza (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) had a solid game at midfield for LHU finishing with three goals and three ground balls.

Hannah Houde (Jackson, N.J./Slippery Rock) finished the game with seven saves after facing 17 shots.

Two of Engler's four goals came in the final 11 minutes of play which helped Lock Haven break open a tie and eventually pull away.

Engler's third goal came in a key situation for the Bald Eagles. When the game was tied at 9-9 with 10:51 remaining in the game Engler found the back of the net and the Bald Eagles never looked back winning the game 13-10.

LHU will now play at No. 8 Queens University of Charlotte on Friday, March 17 (3 p.m.).
