#19 Lacrosse edged out at Slippery Rock

The No. 19 LHU lacrosse team rallied late, but it wasn’t enough to overcome an early deficit as host Slippery Rock hung on for an 11-7 PSAC victory.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. –The No. 19 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (7-6, 4-4 PSAC) rallied late, but the Bald Eagles late-game scoring and push wasn't enough as they fell at Slippery Rock University (10-3, 5-3 PSAC), 11-7 in Pennsylvania's State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.

The Bald Eagles scored five second-half goals and pushed hard late for a pair of goals in the final two minutes, but the rally wasn't enough to overcome the early deficit. Slippery Rock led 6-2 at halftime.
