SOUTH EUCLID, OH. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (6-4) turned in a perfect 2-0 record in the opening day of competition at the Notre Dame College Invitational.
The Bald Eagles beat Salem International (2-12), 3-0 (25-8, 25-10 & 25-18), before ending day one with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, & 25-21) win over West Virginia Wesleyan (2-7).

LHU opened the tournament today with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-10 & 25-18) win over Salem International.
The Bald Eagles had a very balanced attack with five different players having at least four kills.
Annie Dombrowski (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) led the charge with eight kills while
Chloe Williams (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) followed her with seven each.
Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) paced The Haven defense with 14 digs while
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa/Archbishop Wood) set up the offense with 30 assists.
LHU 3 – West Virginia Wesleyan 0
The Haven finished up action today with a straight set victory over West Virginia Wesleyan winning 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, & 25-21).
In the second match, McDonald and Williams led LHU with eight kills each while Dombrowski and Stick each recorded seven of their own.
Nealon was once again had the game high in assists with 25 which matched all of West Virginia Wesleyan combined.
Shaye Whiteman (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) led The Haven in digs as she recorded 15.
