LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (8-6, 1-1 PSAC) couldn't quite replicate their result from last night's game as they fell to Edinboro (11-2, 1-1 PSAC) 3-0 (25-10, 27-25, 25-17) at Thomas Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon.
Every time it seemed as though the Bald Eagles had found their groove and were ready to make a run, Edinboro was able to respond and keep the Haven at bay.
The Bald Eagle offense was led by
Chloe Williams (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and her seven kills while
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) followed her with her six kills.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) tallied 22 assists while
Shaye Whiteman (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) led Lock Haven on defense with 15 digs.
Next up for the Bald Eagles is an away match on Friday, September 29 against Mercyhurst. Game is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
