The LHU men’s basketball team fell on the road to Shippensburg University in a PSAC East matchup.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (5-9, 3-7 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East contest to Shippensburg University (10-3, 6-2 PSAC) on the road by a score of 92-75.

Redshirt Sophomore, Amir Hinton (Philadelphia/Abington) continued his excellent season as he scored 26 points on 9-15 shooting from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line. Hinton now is only 24 points away from scoring 1,000 in his young LHU career.

Tarojae Brake (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) played a well-rounded game as he netted 11 points and hauled in seven rebounds. Both Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) and Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) chipped in with double-digit scoring with 16 and 13 points, respectively.

The second half proved to be a strong one for The Haven as Hinton notched 18 points, while Cerruti and Brake both scored nine points down the stretch to try and cut into the Raider lead.

LHU will return to Thomas Fieldhouse to host No. 17 West Chester on Saturday at 4 p.m.
