LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-7-3, 3-5-2 PSAC) battled first-place Gannon University (9-5-1, 7-2-1 PSAC) to a 1-1 tie after 110 minutes of action.
Over 110 total minutes of action, Gannon held a slight 17-14 advantage in shots.

Brian Flatter (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) played a beautiful threw ball to
Beckham Sibiski (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown H.S.) who beat a defender and finished the ball into the far post.
Despite a strong push from the Bald Eagles, they were unable to find the go ahead goal and LHU and Gannon battled to a 1-1 double-overtime draw.

Jason Keller (Port Matilda, Pa./State College) finished with six saves, including a massive save late in 2OT to keep the game tied.
Steven Schankweiler (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) turned in a strong defensive performance for the Bald Eagles.

Ben Wilson (Boswell, Pa./Conemaugh Township) and Nick Kuster (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North).
LHU has two games remaining in the 2018 regular season, both road games. Next up for Lock Haven is a Tuesday (October 23) match at District of Columbia, before closing the regular season at California (Pa.) on Saturday, October 27.
