SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-1) fell to Lincoln University (1-0) 75-65 in the Wolf's Bus Lines Classic hosted by Shippensburg.
Offensively, the Bald Eagles were led by
Christian Kelly (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) who scored 15. Kelly netted three 3-pointers and went 2-2 from the line to go with four rebounds and two assists.
Overall, the Bald Eagles were very balanced offensively with four players finishing in double-digits.
Jaylen Washington (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) added 14 points on two 3-pointers and 6-6 from the free throw line.
Marques Jackson (Philadelphia/Monsignor Bonner) chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds. Rounding out the double-digits was
Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) who finished with 10 points and three steals.
As a team, the Bald Eagles assisted on fifty percent of their made field goals with 11 assists on the day as Washington and
Jihad Barnes (Philadelphia/Philadelphia Electric Charter) led the Haven with 3 assists each.
