EDINBORO, Pa. – Playing for the second consecutive night on the road,
Tiana Garvin (Philadelphia/Cecil Community College) provided a huge spark off the bench and was one of three players who scored in double figures, but the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (7-3, 3-2 PSAC) fell to perennial conference contender Edinboro University (6-2, 3-1 PSAC), 89-65, tonight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Garvin, a first-year Bald Eagle, turned in her best game so far in the crimson and white. She finished with 12 points and seven rebounds, while also registering two assists, a block and a steal.
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) netted a team-high 14 points and
Rileigh Devine (Etters, Pa./Red Land) scored 10. Parker added five rebounds.
Taylor Leidy (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley) dished out a career-high seven assists and she pulled down six rebounds as the freshman did all she could to help pace the Bald Eagles tonight.
Edinboro benefitted from a balanced scoring night that saw four players finish with double-figures.
The Bald Eagles will break for the holidays, but are set to return to action at home on Sunday, December 30 when they host Seton Hill at 2 p.m. The game will be played as a non-conference game.
