LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Tarojae Brake (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) was 4 of 5 from 3-point range and scored a team-high 22 points to spark the Bald Eagles upset-bid, but in the end it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (7-15, 5-13 PSAC East) was downed by No. 14 Shippensburg University (18-4, 14-3 PSAC East) 81-68 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
Brake was one of three Bald Eagles who scored in double figures. Shippensburg led 37-34 after a thrilling first half and the second half proved to be a tight game until Shippensburg slowly pulled away late.

Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist), who became the 19
th men's player to reach the 1,000-point club in LHU career. He surpassed the 1,000-point mark on Thursday at East Stroudsburg. Hunt is the second Bald Eagle to reach 1,000 points this year as he follows
Amir Hinton (Philadelphia/Abington) who reached the mark earlier this season. In doing so, Hinton became the fastest player in PSAC history to score 1,000 points.
Today also marked LHU men's basketball alumni and friends' day and the Bald Eagles honored the guests at halftime.
Hunt added 17 points and four rebounds and Hinton finished with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists today.
Matt Cerruti (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) added nine points and five rebounds.
Shippensburg made 10 3-pointers and put four players in double figures in the scoring column.
Lock Haven will head to West Chester on Wednesday, Feb. 14 for a 7:30 p.m. game.
