Bald Eagles topped by Wolves in final away contest

The LHU women’s basketball team falls on the road to PSAC foe Cheyney.

CHEYNEY, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (5-20, 4-17 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East matchup to Cheyney University (6-21, 4-17 PSAC) by a final of 65-61, to cap LHU's road schedule.
 
The Bald Eagles were led by a trio of scorers who netted double digit points. Leading the way was Kayla Henderson (Philadelphia/Lackawanna College) who scored 16 points while also bringing down seven rebounds.
 
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) and Rileigh Devine (Etters, Pa./Red Land) also played well-rounded games as Parker finished with 15 points and hauled in eight rebounds, while Devine capped the trio with 13 points, five rebounds and three assists.
 
Freshman Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds for The Haven.
 
This Saturday (Feb. 24), Lock Haven will host Kutztown University at 2 p.m. in what will be LHU's senior game. The Bald Eagles will also welcome alumnae back for the game.
